1 000 students bring bots to La Verne for championship in California biggest robotics event San Gabriel Valley Tribune

The competition is fierce, with teams from all over the state vying for the top spot.

  • Robotics Design: Teams design and build their own robots, using a variety of materials and technologies.
  • Robotics Programming: Teams program their robots to perform specific tasks and maneuvers.
  • Robotics Engineering: Teams design and build the mechanical and electrical components of their robots.

    The teams will play 3 games, with the winner of each game getting to advance to the next round. The third game will be the final, with the winner advancing to the state championships. The teams will play one game per day, with the rest of the day available for other activities. The team that wins the most games will advance to the next round. In the case of a tie, the team with the most wins in the tournament will be chosen. If there is still a tie, the team with the most wins in the regular season will be chosen.
